This week, we had the pleasure of hosting the ENTIRE Energising Development (EnDev) Malawi team at the Kachowe Farm Site in Mitundu, Malawi. This site is a shining example of how solar technology can transform agriculture.

Here, over 50 farmers have been trained on the use of our solar irrigation system, which is now being used to irrigate 66 acres of farmland producing a diverse mix of vegetables. For this installation, Solair Corporation provided a 2HP DC SAMKING Solar Pump, powered by six 385W mono panels, along with pipes and essential accessories to ensure a reliable and efficient setup.

The farmers were visibly excited and proud to showcase how the system has improved their farming practices, reduced labour, and given them confidence in their harvests.

This field visit was not only a success but also a reminder of the impact that clean, sustainable energy solutions can have on Malawi’s farming communities.

We look forward to scaling this impact further to empower even more farmers across the country.

A big shoutout to Peter J Makwana for the amazing footage, Solair Corporation thanks you for the support!
